This is Sterling Construction
Sterling construction is a British Construction company that wanted to be seen as professional, British and they wanted to stand out in a way that their competition doesn't.

The Problem
Most construction companies look the same. They all have a crane, a house, some bricks or a hammer in their logo. This is good as it shows people what they do however if you put them next to each other they would all look roughly the same and the customers would have nothing to differentiate the businesses but their price mark.
Problem Solved
I created a brand that instead of showing the customers what they do (which you can see anyway). Their branding shows what they value as a brand and what's important to them. This truly gives the customers a reason to pick them over their competition. When I heard their name, I instantly thought of "sterling job" a British phrase suggesting a quality job. This lead me to look at silver coins for the logo however this didn't quite do what I wanted. I came across a coin with Britannia on it and I knew that this was perfect. Britannia is the female personification of Britain symbolising strength and courage. This was perfect for Sterlings branding.

Brand In Action
I decided to show Sterling what their brand will look like on a site. Their branding made a brilliant addition to the site giving it a premium feeling for the passers by who would see their branding and remember their brand. Having people remember your brand is essential as people will always refer back to your brand when thinking about your industry.
